This policy explains how WithO2 reports, verifies, corrects, and funds its journalism. It applies to everything we publish.
Sourcing and verification
Every news story is researched from at least two sources, with priority given to primary sources: official announcements, company documentation, regulatory filings, and direct statements. Prices, dates, benchmarks, and quotes are copied verbatim from sources and attributed with links. If we cannot verify a claim, we either say so explicitly or leave it out.
Reviews and comparisons
Software comparisons are based on current, verified pricing and feature documentation checked on the date of publication. Every product we review gets an honest assessment — including its weaknesses. A “Last Updated” date appears on evergreen articles, and we refresh them as products change.
Opinion vs. reporting
Our analysis and opinions appear in clearly marked “Our Take” sections, separate from factual reporting.
AI assistance disclosure
WithO2 uses AI tools in parts of our editorial workflow — research aggregation, drafting assistance, and image generation. Every published article works from human-directed research with verified sources, and our editor is accountable for everything that appears under the WithO2 name. AI is a tool in our newsroom, not a replacement for editorial judgment.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and transparently. Significant corrections are noted in the article. To report an error, use our contact page — corrections requests are reviewed within 48 hours.
How we make money
WithO2 is funded by advertising (Google AdSense) and affiliate commissions. Some links to products are affiliate links — if you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never determine our verdicts: we recommend what we would use ourselves, and our negative assessments stay published regardless of commercial relationships. Advertisers have no influence over editorial content.
Independence
WithO2 is independently owned. We do not publish sponsored content without clear labeling, and we do not accept payment for coverage.
